Dahil sa Galing Bata Essay Winner: GB Parent pt. 2

Hello again, Galing Bata families!

We are at the end of our #DahilSaGalingBata2023 essay contest, but this does not mean that Galing Bata’s impact will stop here! Ever since we held this contest, our parent/guardian support has become stronger than ever (as always!), and we have felt a huge increase in heartfelt thank you’s from our beloved families and friends. Reading the submitted essays reminded me how powerful communities are and how they can shape us for the better. Before I end my mini monologue, I want to leave you with a quote that stayed in the forefront of my mind during this time: “United we stand, divided we fall.” For this new year, I wish you all to find a community that will help shape you as the best and kindest person that you can be.
