SY 20-21 Staff Ate Charm

How long have you been part of FEC GB?

13 years as a staff teacher, volunteer, and director

Paano kayo nagsimula sa FEC GB / how did you start?

I was invited by Ate Charity to be a program leader/teacher. She knew that I spoke Filipino (Tagalog and Illocano).

What is one memorable experience you have at FEC Galing Bata?

I miss being with our students because of the pandemic. One memorable experience is watching students learn the Filipino language and having so much fun.

How has being part of FEC GB touched your life? Who and why do you do this work for?

Galing Bata is enriching because not only do I get the opportunity to do what I love, but also sharing the love for our language and culture for many people to experience. I do the work because it provides so much learning and love. I enjoy working with young people and families.

What is one wish you have for FEC GB Program?

I wish for the program to teach and reach more people in our community.
